Cooperative Banks of Karditsa and Epirus keep customers updated and reduce fraud with timely notifications and alerts through the Alerter app

The Bank provides its customers with alerts of transactions and events recorded by its diverse channels ATMs, web banking etc.

Customers receive required information through the app, available on Play Store and App Store. This leads to greater customer convenience and enables better monitoring of banking transactions in real time.

THE CHALLENGE

The Cooperative Banks of Karditsa and Epirus aimed to improve customer experience with real time alerts, while reducing its costs by using lower capacity to support channels such as its call center and web banking platform.

HOW WE HELPED

We designed and developed the Alerter app in the shortest possible time, which sends alerts on:

  • the details of executed transactions to track them daily and monitor their history
  • unique verification codes for safe web banking transactions
  • information messages

We then enriched the app with important features such as:

  • notification categorization
  • history
  • fingerprint or face recognition (depending on device capabilities)
